Hello Everyone! I just wanted to talk about my experience so far with Midland, TX. I just moved here a month ago, from Arkansas. It is definitely a different country from Arkansas, but it is absolutely beautiful. I don’t know what it is, but I thank God more and more for his beautiful creation. I know when headed to Midland from Arkansas the more flat it gets the closer I am getting to Midland.
I remember the first time I came to see Midland I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. I really thought It smelt bad (which is the oil) and I just knew I was going to hate it.
However, Midland, TX has some of the nicest people, people who go out of their way to say Hi. I tend to still get lost on all of the different roads, but what can I say there is so much to see that I lose my train of thought.
I have several restaurant favorites to eat dinner at so far. Clear Springs Café Is at the top. They have GREAT fried catfish and awesome salads. I really like the Smiling Moose Deli as well. They have great sandwiches. Honestly, we haven’t been anywhere that hasn’t had good service or tasted poorly.
As far as shopping goes…well, the mall is a pretty good place to spend money. They have great stores and the location is perfect, it is right off the loop 250.
If you come to Midland for the weekend or plan on living here in the future, I really don’t think you will be disappointed. It is a great place with great people.
