Midland County’s real estate market is breaking records right now. The already amazing sellers’ market in Midland County intensified this spring. Home sales have jumped, average selling prices surged. The total volume for homes sold in Midland County topped the charts. The dollar volume was nothing short of stunning.  Texas A&M Real Estate Center reported that the dollar volume nearly hit $94 million in March, with the data just recently revealed. This dollar volume is higher than it’s ever been in the county. The average home price? $347,826. Another record. That’s the highest for the month of March. It’s the third highest average home price for the county of any month on record.

That same month, 270 homes were sold in Midland County. That’s a record for March home sales and the third highest number of homes sold in the county in any month. By the end of March, only 333 homes remained on the market. The report indicated that that left us with only a 1.4 months inventory of homes in the county.
