Its new facility is located within the Space Port Business Park at the Midland International Air and Space Port. The new plant will be one of the largest facilities of its kind in the entire country. It will create 160 space manufacturing jobs in Midland too! The company plans to invest over $30 million into the new facility in the coming years in order to build, manage and launch satellite platforms into low-Earth orbit. The company holds a patent on a modular construction process that can significantly reduce the weight (and cost) of LEO satellites.

They say that their technology will revolutionize the way satellites are made, launched and used. The Midland facility will allow them to quickly produce high quantities of low-cost, powerful LEO satellite platforms. The facility’s construction is complete, but production isn’t scheduled to start until next year.
